Manager Ozzie Guillen received a "Little Piranhas" T-shirt in honor of the nickname he gave the Minnesota Twins last month for their pesky play.

I hope Ozzie gives it back on Friday.

Ozzie should keep it as a reminder to keep his mouth shut in the future.
Send Kenny a Frank Thomas jersey while we are at it.

Twins are not long for the playoffs. Yankees in four.

I wouldn't be so sure...the Twins are dangerous. They have nothing to lose. Going into the playoffs with two rookies as their top 3 in Bonser and Garza, of course you don't EXPECT them to win the series, but stranger things have happened.

Heck, they're 29 games over .500 now and they've been without Liriano and Radke for much of the 2nd half. With those two guys healthy, they'd arguably have over 100 wins. Which seems crazy, because the 02 and 03 Twins seemed much better to me, and they never came close to 100 wins.

Based on what we have seen in the playoffs the last few years, the proper analogy is Yankees/Twins = Krypronite/Superman. Actually, that analogy doesn't quite work because I don't want to equate the Twins to Superman. In any event, the Twins played at their worst when they faced the Yankees in the 2003 and 2004 playoffs. I, too, expect the Yankees to win this series in 4.

I hope you're right but plenty of people were ruling the Sox out last year as well--that's why they play the games.

Gotta tell ya, not that I'm going Timberwolf on y'all, but I am pulling for the Twins to beat the Yankmees. Like it or not, the Twinks have played with some guts and heart and may surprise some people, although I won't go so far as to bet them to beat New York.

But after that series, **** 'em.
