That's pretty much a wrap for the Black Jays' 2006 season. linky (http://toronto.bluejays.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/news/article.jsp?ymd=20060920&content_id=1673461&vkey=news_tor&fext=.jsp&c_id=tor)

Roy Halladay may have thrown his last pitch this season. The Blue Jays ace cut his outing short after feeling tightness in his right forearm in the fourth inning against the Yankees on Wednesday night.

As good as he is, he falls victim to a lot of injuries. When was the last year he pitched all the way through? This year he was relatively healthy, but recently got hit on the forearm with a line shot. You wonder if him and Burnett can stay on the mound long enough for them to make a serious run next year and the future....

Crumy ending to a good season for that guy.

Just as well. He had a good year. I'd be pissed if the Sox were still in it though. I think he would have pitched against Detroit on Monday or Tuesday.
