Any of great moments I forgot?

I think it's pretty concise; however, I'm sure that other peope will have opinions based on the games they attended. Of course, each individual person is goint to feel more "connected" with each play they witnessed live.

Despite that, great list! Thanks for all the memories.

I can't think of one, much less 10.

Now, if we list the top ten ex-Sox moments, there have been plenty in the past six games............

Two triple plays were kinda cool!

I liked the Sean Casy not-running-to-first thing. That was what, a 5-7-3 putout? Sorry if that's wrong, I don't know my numbers :?:

A couple of other moments that I felt could be included:

+ Crede's "hacky sack" catch off the tarp. See, you still can have fun with a tarp at US Cellular!

+ The Burhele/Frank Thomas "smile down" when Frank came up against him in the first series. Both had that look of "I know what you've got. I'm not intimidated" was a neat moment. (Also have to include Frank's return and first at-bat. At least until he swung......)

+ Podsednik's tackle of Barrett. (I know, I know. The fight wasn't a good thing, but to see Pods and Anderson come to AJ's defense showed team chemistry.) Follow that with Iguchi's Slam minutes later, that was a great inning of baseball.

Some personal moments
+See the new video for the first time. Joe Buck's "And the White Sox have won the World Series!" to come of the PA system was just perfect. (Hell, the first trip to the park since they won the Series was just incredible.)

+Hearing my 4-year old say for the first time "Get on back there....stretch....you can put it on the board........YES!"

+ Same 4 year old, sitting on the couch between me and my wife saying, "You know, I've really come to love that duck." during the Aflac trivia question.

+ Attending my first Family Field Day. To realize what happened on that field, to see the actual size of the park from a player's perspective, as well as chasing the same 4-year old under balls being thrown by folks was a great moment.

+ Finding flyingsock.com and joining (even with my two bans for being an arse.)

+ The best part? The season isn't over yet, and I'm attending the final regular season game with my wife, brother, and sister.

Good post - Uribe. Thanks for the good memories - we all need 'em right about now. You're right, Myrtle, the memories depend alot on the games you attended. I went to several games this year, but my favorite moment was when Paulie hit the homer against Rovera in the bottom of the 9th - because it was against the Yankees (we later won that game). I was there with my family and it was a very exciting moment. So, was the AJ homer a couple of nights ago (I was there too)! I also saw a bunch of losses in the second half of the season, though, which I would just as soon forget.

I was a May afternoon game, I believe on a Saturday. I was listening to the game on the radio, as I was at work; and saw the play on the highlight reel that evening. You could put a gun to my head, I'll never remember the opponent (or even if we won that game. Horrible memory at times.)

I'm going to disagree with your #1 moment. I was at the game and the fact the top of the 9th was so dman ugly I was still angered as hell. It was tough to even appreciate AJ's HR, even though it was huge at the time. I think Aj's HR vs Dempster was better and sweeter for obvious reasons. The HR on Halfway to St. Patty's day was like bittersweet though, it was tough to cherish for myself because I had almost thrown in the towel already.

Had to look for this one.
Crede's juggling catch (http://chicago.whitesox.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/multimedia/tp_archive.jsp?c_id=cws&ym=200605). Scroll down to May 4 vs. SEA towards the bottom. Sox win 4-1.

How about Pablo's first career home run. Down by 1 with 2 outs in the 9th, Pablo hits a pinch hit homer off Eddie Guardado to tie the game, and the Sox later won in extras. I believe Crede hit a grand slam earlier in that one too.
Also, it's pretty cool that the Sox have hit like 9 or 10 grand slams and turned 2 triple plays.

Josh Field's first Major League at bat - HOMERUN!

Buehrle sliding on the tarp during the rain delay vs. Toronto on Easter Sunday

Rowand coming back for the ring ceremony and his man hug with KW

Any of great moments I forgot?

I was at the games where #1 and #2 took place. I'm going to have to say #2 was far better than #1. In fact out of all the sox games I've ever been to, that game against the cubs was the most memorable.

The best moment was the opening day ring presentation.

Obviously withholding the ring ceremony and things related to the 2005 championship, the top moments from this season to me were:

1. AJ's homer in the 9th at Wrigley
2. Dye's homer off Nathan to tie it in the 9th
3. Gload's grand slam in Baltimore to help the Sox end the losing streak.

Those three moments, to me, stood head and shoulders above everything else in terms of importance.

BA: The Hitman

My personal top 10, obviously all things besides things with 2005

1. Rowand coming back to get his ring, I don't think I've ever heard the cell that loud, it was a great moment.
2. Aj's shot off of Dempster for sure (won me a lot of money off cubs fans)
3. Dye tying it up in the 9th off Nathan (was at a sportsbook in Vegas when it happened and the place went nuts)
4. Gload's grand slam to beat Baltimore (I thought that was going to turn us around)
5. Aj's walkoff to save Jenks (woulda been higher, but was so upet with the blown save)
6. Iguchi's GS to tie it up against Brad Lidge, the White sox's bitch. Ha.
7. Crede's GS to tie that Sat. afternoon game against the Astros.
8. Freddy's almost perfect game....I really thought he had it.
9. Pablo's walk-off bunt against the A's
10. Iguchi's 8th inning 2-run HR against the Devil Rays to tie the game (had to put it in, I was there)

Now if we are going to do lowlights of the season, we should all do top 100 lists.

Best moment will be when Kenny Williams adds a second major league outfielder to the 40man roster. What an idea!

Ross Gload's slam was #1 for me though, AJ's blast off cRyan Dumpstir was a close #2.
