What the hell?Perhaps they need a new reporter? (http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/baseball/2002/spring_training/news/2002/02/17/whitesox_preview/)

Why is every preview that I have seen picking Crede to start at third and Valentin at short? The Sox are saying it is going to be Valentin at third and Clayton at short.

It will be Royce at SS and Jose at 3rd.

This article was the most inaccurate prediction/spring training article this year. Although Donovan accurately predicted the sox to finish first in the central, he misses by saying carlos is batting 6 and Valentin at 7. He also spells Rowand with an L.

You guys already mentioned the Crede thing, but where does he think Clayton is playing. He is not starting or even mentioned in the article. I'm not too high on Clayton, but he is still on the team. I think everyone on WSI could write a more accurate piece.

They probably won't even miss Jose Canseco.

Yes, I can see how teams are madly scrambling for 40-year old players who don't play D.

Sheesh. And people think I'm crazy!
