I had wondered where he was and why I didn't see him in the lineups for this past series. I'm suprised this wasn't bigger news.

This wasn't bigger news because the Indians suck and Hafner hasn't played in a while.

He was once an MVP candidate. He was certainly one of the Sox killers.

You hate to see anyone get hurt. But he'll be back.

That "once" kind of implies he wasn't or isn't a MVP candidate this year, I don't know if you intended it to mean that. But if so, Hafner had a monster year before the injury and if the Indians were more successful I'm sure he would've heard some MVP love his way.

It's amazing how hard and fast the Indians fell this year. I remember lurking on one of their boards during the opening series this year and they were convinced after that 3-game set that they were going to be every bit as good as the Sox this year. :redneck

I wouldn't really say the Indians suck, seems like they are playing better with out him as of late.
