Whats up with that. That series will probably decide the division or wildcard and they are not going to show the game on tv on saturday.

The game has been moved up to 11 a.m. to accommodate University of Minnesota football. Same thing happened the second-to-last weekend of the season last year.

Anybody that is going to that game can buy a video camera and tape it and feed it to a channel in chicago so we can watch it? That might be a HUGE game and were going to be stuck listening to it on the radio? Wait it says MLB.TV telecast :bandance: YES!

i know this may be out of some peoples budget but my girlfriend and I just booked a one day stay in minny. Air tran airfare is $39 each way. Land in minny at 8:30 hop on a rail system from the airport to the dome for $2.00. fly out at 7 that evening i think tickets and airfare cost us $240 but if the sox can clinch that day it will be priceless! just a suggestion. I would stay for sundays game but am going to bears seahawks that night

I got the tickets for the game through the twins website and airline tickets via airtran.com

I'm stuck with watching mlb.tv for at least 85% of the games I watch here in Virginia...

So, suck it up! :p

If it really is an important game, which it looks like it very well could be, I would not be shocked if Fox (who leaves the last weekend games TBD because of the races) picks up the rights to this game. However if us or minnesota or even detroit tanks up the next few weeks, this game wont be seen.

Who will be the announcers for MLB.TV that game if the game isn't going to be broadcasted on tv?

Last year it was a bad stadium cam and the Twins radio crew, and that is if you're one of the lucky ones. I was able to see it, but many in the chat were blacked out anyways

I hereby bet you one picture of a kitten that it is one of the Twins' regular broadcast teams (i.e. NOT a Sox broadcast team).

(Just because you know you're paranoid, it doesn't mean that They're not all out to get you!)

I know FOX and any other major network wouldn't put it on; but, couldn't the Chicago Access Network at least throw the MLB TV feed on there so that at least those of us with cable in the city could see it?

Yeah, I'm SURE MLB wouldn't care at all that people were showing games without permission!

Same thing happened the second-to-last weekend of the season last year.A bit off-topic, but I hate it when two events are scheduled in the same arena for the same day. Especially when they have a DePaul game during the day and a Wolves game at night at Rosemont.

In other words, unless Mayor Daley ponies up the cash, no chance in hell.

I have just the solution to this problem. This game can be played at Comiskey, allowing it to be televised at normal time, and we wouldn't have to reciprocate by giving Minnesota an extra home game next year, because a real team doesn't play their games in a dome!

Neither WGN nor Comcast could pick the game up, as FOX owns the rights to the broadcasts of all day games on Saturdays.

Ok, well it is. Part of the stipulation of FOX picking up the 9/23 game was that they would allow the 9/30 game to be broadcast on another network.

A friend who works for FOX Sports. Probably wont be a release on it until they decide which network will broadcast it.

I guess it'll be party in front of the computer screen time. I don't have MLBtv but my buddy does.

Also, you guys should email MLB and see if they'll provide one-day MLBtv access for that game. Probably would run about $3-4, but it'll be worth it (assuming the FOX broadcast is sunk).

By Fox picking up the Seattle Saturday game do you think they will move the fireworks to Friday night? It will feel like a Bears tailgate over at Jose's Cantina.
