Considering the Alomar curse is in full effect, yes. I really like Sandy, but the Sox have never won a thing after picking up an Alomar brother. Lopez may be a steroid guy though.

No Lopez. Hes an awful defensive catcher who got away by virtue of being able to hit. Now he can't hit... no, hes worthless.

Oh yeah, I forgot what a defensive wizard and hitting machine Sandy is now.:rolleyes:

Sandy is batting below .200 for us, and moves like a walrus behind the plate, so Id consider Javy to be an upgrade at least offensively, and we'd lose little(if anything) in terms of defense. I dont know eithers CERA, but Id wager to say Sandy isnt doing too well with us, and it'd be worth a shot to try something else.
