For the amount of money they're paying to watch, the Bosox fans have every right to boo. Bad PR move there!

This stems from Tavarez refusing to tip his hat when he was pulled Monday night after 6 plus innings of great pitching. However it seems his feeling were hurt when he was booed earlier this year when he was booed after he was lit up MANY times in relief. Boston may have been in first a good part of the summer but it wasn't because of him.

Today they getting clobbered on WEEI because Sanchez pitched a no hitter and he was the throw in on the Beckett deal. They can't win.

There is nothing in Chicago like WEEI. The only thing I have heard that comes close is WIP in Philadelphia and the Eagles.

"I've seen him in the shower and, let me tell you, he's not the Greek God of anything," Terry Francona.

"I was watching him every step and was saying to Mark, 'Please do not tip your cap.' That's how I felt, for him. I was mad for him, because if he tips his cap here, he's giving in. And that's what the fans do, they give in."

Regardless of the stingy take on graciousness in this quote, it doesn't make any sense. What are the fans giving in to? :?:

Well, crap. Can the Wrong Sox BE any more full of themselves? (Not to mention that other commodity people are said to be full of.)

They boo? When we played them in Fenway, they were too busy doing the wave and cheering the guys who throw back opponents' HR balls.

I never like to see the hometown crowd booing thier own. You boo the enemy. Let's those doing the booing do better.

Does that include the Yankee Stadium crowd and A-Rod?

Booing is part of baseball. Heck I suppose Ruth himself got booed in the Bronx, I know they booed Gehrig before people knew he was deathly ill.

The only thing that shocked me this year was when I was in San Francisco and the park cheered Barry Bonds every move and the only person booing it seemed was me.

I don't always agree with fans who boo but it is their right since they bought their ticket.

99% of the time I think fans booing one of their own players is a sign of what an ass the fan in general is. Yankee fans booing A-Rod is a perfect example, it just makes the Yankee fans look bush league not A-ROD. I have no problem with what Youklis said.

I think that statement right three is good enough reason to never boo your own guys. The guy was literally dying on the field and they booed him.
