This is kinda interesting, a Sox fan did it - you can watch any season's race on a moving grid, almost like a horserace.

That is awesome.

Nice to see the 2005 Sox pushing that line the whole way.

That's awesome!

As I watched the 2005 race, I was just thinking to myself that the horse called CLE was charging fast, but I didn't think he had enough to overtake that brilliant horse CHW. I thought CHW did a great job of racing from the front the entire way.

Oh that 1983 burst of speed is the best!

Also, check out Seattle in 2001.

I never knew how heartbreaking simple graphics could be until I selected "1964" and then "1967" and "American League". I know, I must be a sadist...:whiner:

2003 A.L. Central was cool for me, because I was in Iraq for 85% of the season. Good stuff.

BaseballRace.com is an online application that allows you to view any Major League Baseball season, split by league or division (even wild card races), as an animated, date-by-date race between the various teams you choose.
It was designed to bring a historical season to life more so than mere standings or graphs. With BaseballRace.com, you can experience an entire season "live."

The data goes back to 1901, and includes every game of every season up through yesterday (9/5/2006).

You need to see it work to appreciate it. And the author identifies himself as an unabashed White Sox fan! :bandance: And...I'm not the author.

I think that site is broken, if you run the 2006 AL Central, the Sox aren't eliminated yet. I post on a site called WSI all the time, and I thought they were eliminated.

Hey everyone... thanks! The site is mine, I've been a WSI member for a year or two now.

I didn't even know anyone posted this here (I didn't want to plug it myself  )

I guess it got featured on Yahoo TV today... so I've been trying to not have the server explode.

Thanks for the comments, everyone!
