it's a start?

"Aside from struggling leadoff batter Scott Podsednik dipping his shoulder into two reporters in a crowded Fenway Park clubhouse, the Sox spoke calmly about falling just short in several areas."

"Dipping his shoulder?"

What does that imply he did?

That's the only thing he's hit in a month.

That there was a bunch of reporters surrounding him or close to him and he chose to "clear his way through" or "butt through them" without saying excuse me, lol. Not sure if these were Chicago, Boston or national people. Would be interesting to find out more about the circumstances...if someone had asked him a question and he bolted, refusing to answer it. Or if someone was around a teammate, blocking his way in the process, and he just "dipped" his way through the crowd in an "unpleasant" way.

Think of Pods like a tiny offensive lineman clearing the path for his halfback.

I heard about this on the radio this morning. So what?? So he bumped into a guy in a crowded clubhouse. Is that supposed to mean something??? :?:

He had probably just gotten told he was getting benched. Atleast someone is showing frustration. I would rather see what Scott did than the crap Konerko pulls out of the batter's box. His dipping of the shoulder is annoying.

Oh my god, Pods was...slightly rude to someone. Yes, this means we've officially recaptured the fire. Should be smooth sailing from here on out boys. Enjoy the ride.

That's just Scott being Scott...

Maybe his wife was on the road with him and she wanted to protect him from the groupies by hustling him out of Fenway on a leash.

"Dipping his shoulder?"
What does that imply he did?

Considering the source, it implies that he tried to walk around somebody, but they jumped in front of him, grabbed him, said "I didn't have the ball bitch," and then punched him in the face 'cause he deserved it.
