Unavailable due to soreness.
Which means, for the second time in a week (2nd game of DH against Craig Monroe), we could see the Yanks lose to one of our rivals thanks to the inimitable Proctor/Farnsworth combination.
I think Scott has blown all (or almost all) of his save opportunities, and Farnsworth is Farnsworth.

Life's a bitch.
It's incidents like this that cause you to look back at all those games the Sox pissed away to garbage teams this season and shake your head.
If (the biggest little word in the world...) the Sox took care of their own business they wouldn't have to rely on the Yanks beating the Twins to get them off their backs.

And Mr. Garza has only given up 5 ER in 19 2/3 IP since his debut.
When's the last time a Sox rookie pitcher has come in (in the heat of a pennant race) and put up numbers like that?
Kip Wells in 1999 was good, but not like this.
Does anyone believe Broadway (who was drafted earlier in the first) could repeat the same results for the Sox?
Hunter now has 8 HR's in the last 15 games. Maybe that will drive up his asking price out of Minnesota's willingness to pay.
A couple of weeks ago, it would have seemed a miracle that he would get $10 million per season. Now, who knows.
