Sep 2 Minnesota Twins SP Francisco Liriano (elbow) participated in a 12-minute bullpen session, Saturday, Sept. 2, and reportedly felt no discomfort, according to the Associated Press. He wore spikes during the session and was able to throw all of his pitches. Liriano is expected to throw batting practice Wednesday, Sept. 6, at Tampa Bay, before possibly heading to Triple-A Rochester for a rehab assignment after that.

We'll need him to come back soon to have any shot at the playoffs.

I'm with you FWC. Isn't this Talking Baseball? Liriano's injury [let's face it] likely has kept us in the race at all. His return [or decision to shut him down] could be the key to the whole thing. We play 3 in the Humpdome to finish the year. I hope not to see Johan and Liriano in 2 of the 3. This is big news to follow for Sox fans. Thanks TwinsWin

Kind of funny that he'd do a rehab start for a team who's season is over.

Hey how is that trolling? It would be trolling if he said "you might as well give up, no way you can win with liriano back. you're team sucks" or something like that.

Twins win, we appreciate the info
