I was at the mall yesterday and saw an A's jerseytee and got all excited, only to look on the back and see Crosby :(

I'd rather see his than either of these:

Were either of them ever known for being team players? They are more like:

Sweet merciful crap. They are legitimate HOF players. One is the all time best leadoff hitter and the other guy did so much in the postseason that he became known as Mr October. How much more do you want a guy to do for you team?

"Sweet Merciful Crap" - that's poetry! No kidding - those are two of the greatest players to ever lace em up. You could argue that Henderson is somewhere in the top 25 or so players ever. And Reggie was awesome at what he was asked to do.

Hotdogs or not - they were some of the best ever, and they helped lots of teams win.

He's in as a Yankee. He did a hell of a lot in Oakland though. 3 straight World Series titles ain't bad.

Don't forget that was part of five straight division championships.

Ricky and Reggie are awesome. Ricky was my favorite baseball player.

You guys have your opinion, I have mine. Personal (and some team)accomplishments aside, I don't like either of them and wouldn't want either on my team for reasons I choose not to go into.

Henderson was the greatest of all time. He even said so.

However, I did not share his opinion.

Greatest player? No.

Greatest leadoff hitter? Probably. He can go toe to toe with Cobb in most categories.

SOME team? MVP awards aside? Playoff accomplishments aside?

Suffice to say, I'm glad you have no input on personnel for any team I care about.

You know who was a real "me" guy you wouldn't want on your team? Michael Jordan. Gosh didn't he just think he was the nuts!

Whatever.... I feel the same way about you picking any of my players, and I don't even know you.

Suffice to say, my opinion is my opinion, and I stick by it.

It's...because...they're black, isn't it?
