Yahoo MLB page (http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb;_ylt=Aje7iSoSWMvzYgzgrmDsgKo5nYcB) has a poll asking which team, the Sox or Twins, will win the wildcard. AS of now, the Twins are winning in the poll. I'd like to think it's because everyone thinks the Sox will win the division, but let's get out there and vote for the Sox anyway!

The Sox are about 3,000 votes behind- it'll be tough to catch up.

But its ok, I'd rather have the Division title than the wildcard anyway.:D:

How could that many people seriously think the Twins are the better team and going to win the Wild Card? Are they nuts?

I suspect a Twins fan with a scripted voting machine.

3,000 is nothing and WSI has 7,500+ members. Just vote often!

Has MLB announced that this will actually count in the standings?

It is deeply ingrained in my DNA.

Sorry. I will now go vote.

Considering the headline suggests the Twins and Yankees meeting again, they plant the seed for all the simple-minded, impressionable people to vote for the Twins.

We've got competition, folks. The Twins total is going up, too.

There is a poll on ESPN.com right now about the regular season awards (MVP, CY, ROY). Currently, Dye is trailing Jeter by a few points. However, I've found that you can vote as many times as you want. Simply submit your vote, then hit the back button on your browser. All of your previous selections should be there, and you can hit submit again. I watched Dye's percentage raise by nearly a point as I submitted my votes.

I personally think this is a (slightly) more worthy poll to divert attention to. If we can make people aware of Dye, they will start to realize that he is the better candidate. As it is, nobody even knows how good of a season he's having.

Woo hoo! Dye takes the lead. Halladay has also been gaining on Santana.

ESPN.com has the White Sox winning the Wild Card and Dye winning the MVP. Still, who cares about those? The Sox have to do their own thing.

The way the Sox are playing the Twins very well might win it.
