I think we will get within a game of first but end dropping a few towards the end of the month going 17-12 through september and just squeaking by the Twins who go 17-13 over the final month.

This month is going to cause some panic among some of us im sure but in the end I believe we will be in New York to start the ALDS come October 2nd as wild card champs.

I'll agree with the 1/3 in Minnesota, but that's if we get really lucky.
I hope the games still mean something by then.

Well, you start off by predicting the Sox to sweep KC in KC. While I hope you are correct, it isn't likely. KC is playing as good as anyone right now. Runelvys has been very good in his last few starts, and KC is very tough to beat at home, even when they aren't playing well anywhere else. When you factor in how well they have played the Sox all year, I don't like our prospects in this series.

To be honest, I just hope we don't get swept. If we can find a way to take 2 of 3, I'll be delighted.

KC is the worst team in the league, if we don't take at least 2 out of 3, then I'd be worried.

They haven't been playing like the worst team in the league for the last month or so. They just took two of three from the Twins in Minneapolis.

2 out of 3 against KC in KC the way they are playing right now would be a very good accomplishment, in my opinion.

Anything can happen... trying to predict anything with the 'Schizoid Sox' of 2006 is difficult at best.
