I think Fenway is buried on an ancient Indian burial ground and the spirits are fighting back. Serious though, it sucks to see the hits they are taking. Hopefully just mono for lester

I can't recall any team getting hit like Boston has the past month.

Any word if Big Papi will even attempt to come back this year?

Wow, 22 years old. Yikes! I sure hope it turns out to be something not too serious. :(:

There's not really much point. Far far better not to take the risk, let him sit out another week and then, when he's rested and fully healthy, come back next Thursday.

Ditto for Manny. They should definitely both come back by say Sep 19.

Are the BoSox going to be able to field a team for our series with them at the rate they're dropping? Poor guys.
The Lester thing is my fault... I picked him up for my fantasy baseball team, which I can't seem to ever win!
Hate to see the Yanks win that division.

I hope Lester doesn't have cancer, and that he's all right.

Way to jinx him. Thought I only had that affect on players for fantasy.

D.Lee--Broken Wrist
J.Thome-- traded for him has been banged up since
C.Crisp--Broken hand

Nothing but hell for me this year!!!

:?: Yea dude, a lack of amphetamines can cause cancer and irregular heartbeats.

:?: Yea dude, a lack of amphetamines can cause cancer and irregular heartbeats.
It was more of a general statement regarding the entire Red Sox team this year.

I second that, what was the point of that amphetamine statement??? There was nothing in the thread that called for wise-ass comments?

Rivalries are one thing, life-threatening illnesses are no joke.
