I went to the game last night and I saw a lot of Konerko, Crede, Podsednik and A.J. Jerseys..but did not see one Dye Jersey in the ballpark of 35,000 plus..

I wanted to start a thread for one of the most underappreciated players on the White Sox...post here to give Jermaine one loud cheer!!!

Way to go Jermaine !!

i'm sure there was some JD jersey's out there. I know what you mean though. He could be or probably is our best player. Has been since he came to Chicago in my mind.

I'm a little sad I ordered a Crede Jersey a couple weeks ago.... not because of Joe but because Dye is such a stud!!!

How can he not be MVP? Jeter's campaign has been impressive, but Jermaine has carried this team. 2SB's tonight? You've got to be kidding me.....

SUPERSTAR DYE!!!!!!

Mr. Dye is an outstanding player having an MVP year! Thanks goodness (Mr. Williams and Mr. Dye) that he is on our team!

ESPN had a little headline today that read:

Jeter: a lock for AL MVP?

I had to teal that up because it is so friggin' insane! Dye's numbers are dominantly superior in every category except BA, OBP and SB, and he's still top ten in the league in two of those. Thank you JD, it has been a pleasure watching you this season!!!

Isn't it time we start yelling "MVP" "MVP" when he's up?

He's such a smart player. Nothing he does is cheap, even his steals. Tonight shows why he's the MVP and not Ortiz.

I LOVED the MVP chants in the bottom of the 8th inning after he stole second at the game tonight.

Here's to you, JD!!!

JD 4 MVP!

I have a Dye home jersey. I bought it in June. Great choice!

I don't buy jerseys, but I'd certainly buy a JD T-shirt. :D:

Seriously, I give JD his props. He's my favorite current Sox player.

I think a group of fans should get together, wear Dye jerseys, and call themselves the Jermainiacs.

Just kidding. JD is one cool cat. I still don't understand how he made a perfect throw back to Konerko while spinning around in the ninth inning last night. Paulie didn't even have to move his glove. :worship:

Jermaine is awesome. He's not full of himself, he's just a regular guy, who happens to be one hell of a ballplayer!! It was awesome to see Jermaine steal 2 bases last nite! Keep up the good work, Jermaine, you desreve the MVP! :bandance:

LIVE AND LET DYE!! (I was thinking they should play "Live and Let Die" when Dye comes up to bat!)

How appropriate, I've been pondering getting a Dye jersey. So maybe next time I'm at a game they'll be at least 1 (hopefully more).

He's been stellar. From the rumor of him coming to Chicago for less money than other teams offered to his extreme modesty he's been damn awesome. The only time you hear him say "I" is when it's followed by "try to do my job" or "am honored to play here."

Talk about consistency. I'd get one of those player shirts but I don't have $100+ for a jersey

Go to Wal * Mart. The one in Skokie, at least, has Dye jersey tees for 12.76. :mg:

I haven't been in a walmart for years and now this? How about the one in bridgeview?

Why do you go buy me a medium and ship it to me.

Anyone have any idea where I can find an Anderson shirt? (or if they even make them...) I've been looking online for months, but haven't gotten anywhere. :(:

What a good feeling it is to know that JD will still be out there in Rightfield next year , no matter what happens with any awards.

He is a quality, high character , guy that is so humble, it just makes him like a poster child for how real pro players should conduct themselves.

Fortunately, Kenny has surrounded him with a lot of other high character guys - I think that is a big part of kennys success recently.

It rubs off on everyone when your leaders are great team players.

may i recommend ebay for a jersey. You can find brand new one for 60 or 70 bucks.

I hope he wins the MVP this year. He certainly deserves it. Plus I picked this game used signed bat up for a steal.

Count me among the JD supporters. Without him, who knows if we're the 2005 World Champs? He was the WS MVP and as far as I'm concerned he's this year's MVP as well.

Thanks for all you do, Jermaine!

No matter if he's voted the AL MVP or not, Sox fans know Dye is truly the MVP. Even though his homer off Nathan last Saturday came in a loss, it was one of the best moments of this season.

JD = Clutch.

On behalf of all Sox fans, thanks JD.

MVP MVP MVP MVP

the guy is a stud. While Thome has gotten tons of credit most of the year for being so good, the Dye love has kinda just started from most. hes been great all year

he's also one reason why my screenname is bull****
