I would think so if there is no rain.

He was available to pinch hit last night if necessary.

Keep him on that bench to get 100% healthy. Even if he was at 96% right now, let him have another day or 2 to heal up completely. Until then, why mess with the good thing going right now?

We shouldn't need Thome to pinch-hit, unless of course, Cotts has been pitching.

There's really no need to rush him back...i'd rather have him healthy for the last couple weeks

But with that said, I hope he's 100%

Good to hear, I'm anxious to see what kind of difference the Dye/Thome/Konerko order makes...if any. That's still a tough order, followed up by AJ and Crede.

I like the sound of that lineup. :gulp: Welcome back, big Jim.

Probably had to be pretty tough for Ozzie to takke Gload out of the lineup. But, he can't go 3-5 in every single game he plays. He did an outstanding job filling in for Thome while he was resting up for the big stretch run...

When Paul Konerko is your #5 hitter, hell, when Joe Crede is your #7 hitter, you know you have a scary line-up. If Pods were having any kind of a year we'd score a million runs.

Go Jim!

And with the pitching we have, those million runs might just be enough for the win.

Nice to see Thome back, but Gload sure did an excellent job with him out. I hope Ozzie can get Ross some work off the bench. His bat (and glove) are valuable to this teams stretch run.
