At weatherchannel.com, looks as if there is a decent-sized chunk of rain in Iowa now but nothing more than a 30-45 minute delay, at worst, if it doesn't dissipate. The chance of rain is 30% through the night and described as "scattered" and not "strong" showers.

bring protection - but the game will be played... so the radar seems to say. just grey out tonight... reminds me of game 1 WS! :)

Good call on it feeling like Game 1 of the World Series, though of course that day was colder.

As temperatures start to dip at night it's starting to feel like playoff time.

I hope the Sox start playing like Game 1 of the World Series!

Seriously, I got soaked on the way home from work yesterday. I was surprised that the Sox got the game in.

If it's big enough. I don't see why not.

We were saying the same thing while tailgating. Baseball is such a "summer" sport that it is refreshing to enjoy it on cooler days (early spring/late fall).
