Per ESPN.com, Bary Bonds' trainer, Greg Anderson has been returned to jail for again refusing to testify before the newly empaneled grand jury investigating Bonds' perjury and tax evasion allegations. This time, he could be in the slammer for up to 16 months, the duration of this grand jury. It will be interesting to see if this stint tests his resolve not to testify. Mark Geragos, attorney to the slime, will appeal.

The author of the bio of Bonds wrote a piece for ESPN Page 2 about this. Good reading, I thought.

What is Barry Bonds holding over this guys head, that he won't testify against him to save his own ass ? I really don't think it's because of any loyalty he has for Barroid, because I really don't think Bonds has any friends that really and truely like him and think of him as their pal.

I'm surprised that ESPN would allow a column like that posted on their site, every time you hear Bonds' name with steroids on ESPN its always "alleged" use.
