Garland has the right idea when he said that Dye should be the AL MVP.

Congratulations Jermaine. Keep up the good work.

What? Big Papi deserved it!!!!!
I know! After all, the stress of the Yankees series sent him to the hospital!!

Seriously, that is great and it is no less than JD deserves. I was at the game on Saturday night and the "M-V-P" chant was awesome. Almost as awesome as the year that Dye is having.

Dye is awesome...and to think he was considered by many a minor acquisition by KW in the '04 offseason, and a poor one at that to replace Maggs. Way to go JD, you've got my vote for MVP.

Let me just state something:

When David Ortiz hits a home run, he poses, staring at the ball as it goes over the fence.

Dye? He hits the ball and starts digging hard in case it doesn't leave the building.

Ortiz is a showboat *******.

I believe that's the second time this year JD's won the POW.

His game-tying homer on Saturday was--at the time--about the highlight of the season. Just beautiful.

Dye definitely is the league MVP (and if MLB had an MVP, he'd be that too). Let's hope that's seen when it comes to handing out the hardware.

Before he came here he was knocked for not being a clutch hitter. But since June of last year he has been nothing but clutch, while Maggs spent a lot of time on crutches.

I'l take clutch over crutch anyday!

JD, YES!!!!!
