August 27, 1910 - Comiskey Park hosts the first night game ever played in a major league stadium as two Chicago amateur clubs play before 3,500 fans.
August 27, 1911 - ‘Big’ Ed Walsh fires a no hitter against the Red Sox at Comiskey Park. It’s the first time a Sox pitcher throws a no hitter in that stadium. The future Hall Of Famer would go on to become an umpire after he retires.
