I can't believe Lip forgot about one of the great moments in White Sox
history.

August 26, 1935- The White Sox enter the 15th inning of a game with
the New York Yankees tied 7-7. Lou Gehrig homers in the top of the
inning to seemingly seal the game for New York. However, the White Sox
tie the score in the bottom of the 15th and have the bases loaded with
2 outs. On the 3-2 pitch Zeke Bonura, the runner on third, breaks for
the plate. The pitch gets past the catcher and Bonura slides home with
the winning run. Zeke, a 6' 210 lb. gallumpus never known for his speed,
gets credited with a steal of home plate.
