3 of 4, picking up two games on Detroit and 1 game on the WC lead.

I like the word "chop" better, but I chose a draw.

I think the Tigers win the first two, allowing Chicago to leave with the momentum. Pisses me off just thinking about it.

Ha, nice poll options. I forgot how much Homefish would be crapping his drawers this week in anticipation of getting swept.

The Sox will win three.

The Kitties are in a tailspin, but I can't see them losing 6 in a row. So I'm going to say they sneak one of the four out from us, we take 3, and leave Detroit back 3.5 games and up a couple in the WC.

I voted we'd sweep, and I'm afraid I'm going to have to insist on it.

I'm under a self-imposed moratorium on predictions based on anything other than pure bias.

Verdict: Detroit's a much cleaner place after the Sox come in and sweep it up.:D:

I think we win 3 out of 4 with the game that Freddy Garcia starts as the only loss.

Well, if you insist...

What other choice do I have??

I can't believe 3/4 is running away with it. Why would anyone hope for anything but a sweep? I don't understand predicting losses.

I think we've proven we can beat Detroit. I'm going for the sweep, baby.

We all HOPE for a sweep, of course, but the poll asked what we THINK will happen. Four-game sweeps on the road are rare (yeah, I know about New York-Boston).

Both teams are scuffling a little bit. We're catching Detroit at a good time. I think we'll take three out of four, but if we sweep, I'll be the first to stand up and admit I was wrong.

If Homefish ends up smiling after this week, we are in BIG trouble.

Freddy makes us a tiny bit apprehensive, that's all. His idea of "keeping it close" is giving up 4 or 5 runs.

I confidently predict a sweep, however.

I love the description of the last choice.

I predict 3 of 4. A split at worst and a sweep at best.

I sure hope they get at least 3 out of 4, so that's what i'll pick. Hope I'm wrong and we sweep though>

We're 9-3 against them. I think that this holds true to form, and we take 3.

SWEEP!
You forgot one other option on what will be the "end result:"

I-Rod beats up three umps.

Why stop at three, Dump? You don't think I-Rod can hit for the cycle? I'm thinking an ump a game is well within his reach. :D:

Kind of like last year how the Sox were good against everyone but absolutely dominated their in-division competition (Cleveland).

COMMENCE SWEEPAGE!!!

Like the late, great Robert Johnson would say: "Dust your brooms".
We're in more Tigers heads than Sigfried and Roy.

the game today was too laughable to be mad. It was like that movie The Money Pit where the bucket or something fell through the floor and Hanks just stares at it and starts laughing.

Nostradamus, your table is ready...

Even though the team that I love lost the last two games, I feel like I should milk this one, since it's the first prediction I've ever gotten right in my life.
