Because we'd most likely get the majority of responses here dealing with a game last October (and rightfully so), I thought I'd keep this strictly focusing on your favorite regular season Sox game. Who was pitching? What was the final score? Were you at the game? Why was this your favorite regular season game?

Gary Peters throws a complete game one hitter beating the Orioles 4-0. J.C. Martin and Tommy McCraw belt two run home runs. Peters fans eleven.

Pretty good first game eh?

Joe Crede with the walkoff against Cleveland last September. The best game I've ever been too. I was in the 500 section, hadn't been up there in probably ten years.

Mine happens to be from this year: June 20th (I was sitting in my season ticket seat for this game).

Sox vs. Cards, Vazquez vs. Mulder

Final Score: 20-6 Good Guys

This game was my favorite, because I absolutely love offensive explosions (and blowouts) by the Sox. I never thought I'd be present to see our Palehose score 20 runs in a single game. The entire crowd was in it the entire night, and rightfully so! It was the most excitement I've experienced in the regular season at the ballpark! This is gonna be hard to match.

Oh yeah, one of the ESPN games last summer that I got to watch when I lived in Minneapolis. That was probably my favorite game from last year, and definitely one of the top 3 of all time.

In terms of games I've witnessed in person, it's a tossup between AJ's walkoff and Carlos Lee's 10th inning grand slam to beat the Cubs in 2001.

But I still say Joe Crede's homer against the Indians last September is the biggest regular season home run in Sox history.

I haven't witnessed many spectacular Sox games in person. The best is the 19 inning win this year.

1990. The Andy Hawkins no-hit loss 4-0. A beautiful sunday with the yankee defense coughing up a scoreless game on a wind-swirled day at the ol' gal (Comiskey).

July 31st 1991

Sox beat the Texas Rangers on Robin Ventura's walkoff grand slam off Goose Gossage.

Best game i've witnessed is probably Buehrle's CG against the cubs. I had a blast shouting "Na Na Na Na" as loud as possible as Greg Maddux left the mound. The Sox are 9-1 with me in attendance this year, so you can tell i've seen some great ones. Opening Night is probably second even though I didn't stay the whole time. :bandance:
