Pitchers barely EVER win the PTC, even if deserving, like tonight. Something with Daver I guess :rolleyes: . I've learned to simply not pick a pitcher regardless of a high level of confidence in them :cool: .

Thome - 2/4 - 2 hits - 2 runs- 0 RBI - 2 strikeouts.

Garland - 7.2 IP - 5 hits - 1 run - 0 ER - 1 BB - 5 K.

Oh well, it's useless to argue. Beating a dead horse.

I think I remember someone saying a while ago that in order for the starting pitcher to win it, he's gotta go at least 8 IP.

I assume the reason pitchers rarely get PTC is that it makes the game too easy (especially last year).
