Who is Thomas Jaquez, on ESPN it says he is a lefthand pitcher? Anyone know his stuff.

A former Phillie guy.....If he is a leftie he will get every chance to pitch here...doesnt have much of a pedigree to live up to

He's 26 6'2 195 lb.

Last year with Phillies was in 9 games. 7.1 innings, 10 hits, 9 runs, ERA 11.05.

Sadly those stats wouldn't make him our worst Leftie reliever last year would they?

He would be a quick fan favorite with everyone knowing he grew up a die hard Sox fan and he wants to be here. If he's got anything left, I really hope they go after him.

hes also the son of pat jaquez... remember him? he pitched a inning or two for us back in 71...lets hope the boy can do better than daddy did....
