I can't wait

HBO Sports has begun production on "Wait 'Til Next Year: The Saga of the Chicago Cubs," a documentary on the history of the North Siders as seen through the eyes of their die-hard fans. The special will debut Sept. 26 as part of HBO's "Sports of the 20th Century" series.

What are you talking about? This is pretty much what Fever Pitch was supposed to be until they had to scramble to change the ending...

The movie may be hot garbage, but the books sounds good, I really want to read it.

I'll be busy watching the White Sox (the guys who win the World Series, BTW) do a beat-down of the Tribe that night.

Oh well.

Don't worry, it will be replayed ad nauseum on one of the thousands of other HBO channels.

I'll be busy watching my DVDs of the White Sox' 2006 World Series championship run.

I here they also have multiple sequels in the works as we speak. There should be one out next year, and then the year after that, and then the year after that, and then...

I hope its as star-studded as that "Curse Of The Bambino" special about the Red Sox HBO used to run a few years ago. Seriously, though, what are the odds on this special featuring Jim Belushi?
