Amazingly, there are a lot of games where no one talks about a no-hitter, and they don't turn out to be no-hitters either.

People generally talk about potential no-hit games after five or six innings, when the best hitters are due for their third look at the starter. I am sure that in the few no-hitters that are pitched there isn't a conspiracy of silence going on to make it happen.
