Verlander versus Contreras...first game of a huge match-up, with two aces on the mound and Verlander also having skipped a start due to fatigue

I don't think theres anything really wrong with Liriano. At least I haven't much around heree. The Twins have always been very careful with their young pitchers. If they have any discomfor they will miss a start. It's part of the reason why Garza hasn't come up yet, not because of an injury but they watch their young pitchers very close. I wouldn't be surprised if they don't bring him up this year. They want to make 100% sure he's ready for the big leagues.
