BOT 8, TB puts up 3 runs to lead 8-4. Think they'll hold? The Sox would go .5 up to lead the wild card. Next stop...Detroit.

One thing about the D-Rays, they have a knack for playing spoiler. Here's hoping we can continue to benefit from that! :D:

Boston's had quite a tough time with them this year (as have we).

8-5 Manny and David on base; tying run at the plate. 1 out.

Here we go. Bases loaded, 1 out. Lopez up and Mo Pena on deck. I'm thinking Boston's gonna pull this one out.

Weren't there a bunch of posters that wanted Lopez as a replacement for Widger, or only a couple of dreamers without knowledge of payroll realities?

I suggest everyone to go listen to Willsy's analysis of the home runs on MLB.com on the D-Rays page. They are on the front page and will be under top plays archive soon. Dioner Navarro's expression was priceless after his HR off Papelbon. He looked like he couldn't believe it.

How's morale on the Boston side right now? Neither of our teams seem to want it that bad yet.

Both teams are kind of stumbling through the regular season, but when it's said and done I think the World Series will come down to one of the Sox.

There are reports that the vets in the clubhouse are not happy Theo did nothing at the deadline. Boston hasn't been the same team since the 19 inning game at The Cell.

Theo this morning says he is really worried about the Twins taking command of the wild card.

Boston better sweep in KC while the White Sox and Yankees play....but the way things are going I am afraid the Royals are going to burn them

Before that series, the Sox were red hot and tore through the National League. After...a stellar 3-12 run. So it wasn't very prosperous for either side.
