Hi folks, remember me?

Close call between him and Thome. Between them they were 6 for 7 with three BB.

Maybe Jermaine could use a little rest, too...8 LOB.:o:

I thought it would be either AJ or Garland.

If not for his RBI in the 9th, I might agree with you on Jermaine.

If not for his RBI in the 9th, I might agree with you on Jermaine. It's not just the 8 LOB. It's getting to that time of the season. He's played a lot of games. I'd like to see Mackowiak spell him a few games in RF. They're facing a string of RHP over the next five games. It's as good a time as any to give JD a breather for a few. It seemed to do Thome and Konerko a world of good.

Honorable mentions to the obvious AJ who "won the damn game" with his clutch opposite field HR, the D-fence who turned at least 4 DPs when the pesky Blue Jags got on base every damn inning, Thome who along with Paulie was part of the unsoppable duo in the lineup, and Jon Garland, who stuck with it in spite of the 3R blast early, pitching a great game.
