Do we know yet? Is he playing, or are those back spasms still bothering him?

The papers seem to think he could be back as late as Friday, so I'd say he probably won't be in the lineup today.

He may sit 'till friday. Ozzie wants to give him an extra day off. He's been getting alot of treatment on his back the last few days. That way, he sits tonight, off day Thursday, and he's ready to face Roy Halladay on friday.

I hope he does. The rest won't kill him or us-its' the Royals and we face Halladay on Friday. He would be available to PH if necessary.

With Gload playing excellent, there's no rush to get him back into the lineup. We could see some creative lineups from Ozzie though if Thome and Paulie miss a couple of games at the same time.

He was in uniform yesterday. My guess is he will be again today, just in case, but that he probably won't play.

Let Gload hustle more for another night. Besides, this is the Kansas City Royals we're dealing with here.

Exactly. The Sox "B" squad should be able to clean house on the Royals "A" squad any day of the week.

We just gotta "Follow the Yellow Brick Gload" and hope he keeps it going until Paulie and Thome are healthy.

Gload is filling in well but he can't replace both Konerko AND Thome.

No doubt, but is there anyone out there who ISN'T glad we still have Gload?
