Where were you sitting? on 7/29 I was sitting in section 56 row FF. you must've been a couple of sections down.

Great seats. I had a great time and a great view as well. I still like The Cell better though.

Great pics! ... Saturday, I was down the line in section 68, row CC with a couple of friends who were enjoying Camden for the first time.

I have to say, we went to the sports bar in the warehouse by the beginning of the 3rd inning, to look around and escape the heat. We were back in our seats at the end of the 7th... we had a blast!

Killer pics...I was there for the first two games myself. Not as good as seats as those.

You can see why AJ can hit...his head is DOWN on the ball...kids, take note.

In terms of sightlines, the Cell can't be beat. But in terms of architecture and "curb appeal", the Cell ranks about midway down my ballparks list.

Oriole Park at Camden Yards is spectacular. That area of Baltimore where the yard is with the Inner Harbor is getting it done. Tons of things to do, great food, and a first class ballpark.

They, like Pittsburgh, just don't have a first class team.

Man, now I'm even madder I didn't make it up there since I could have been sitting there.:D:

Walked up to the Sunday game with no tix and ended up getting 2 seats in Section 20 row WW.

Great seats and a good time, even though we were only able to stay through the 6th inning, thankfully we missed the 9th inning melt-down.

Those were great seats. Saturday you were sitting two rows behind Illinois House Speaker Madigan and a row behind Paul Vallas. Paul's son got the lineups cards. (I wandered down there for the bottom of the ninth)

That was Vallas! Thought he looked REALLY familiar.

Let's just say he was, well, big-timed.

Could you and others elaborate a little bit more on the comparisons between Camden and our ballpark please? Thanks.

It's just little stuff...the brick warehouse, the big scoreboard that makes the wall in RF so high, bi-level bullpens.

Depends on whether you are interested in seeing a ballgame or visiting a museum of ballpark cuteness. I like USCF better.

Awesome photos... your seats were a hell of a lot better than mine. I was in left field on Friday night and then took the cheap route with upper deck seats on Saturday and Sunday.

By the way, I was the one who briefly said "hi" to you on your way out of Wharf Rat on Saturday. I recalled your post mentioning the retro Sox jersey you would be wearing and then happened to notice you at the bar. Nice to meet you, even though it was brief.

I spent all day Sunday racking my pickled brain trying to remember your screenname. Great meeting you...next time I won't be so drinky and would be glad to buy you a beer.

No worries... I was plenty "drinky" myself. Sox fans definitely ruled the Baltimore bars on Saturday evening.

Great pictures, Wilkes. Sorry we didn't get to meet up on Saturday; the kids were at the game with us and they had about all they could take by the end of the game. My friends and I had a few drinks with DumpJerry and Co. after Friday's game, but on Saturday we all just wanted to get home. Damn, it was hot.
