Craig Wilson is a good pick up.

Where does he play? Backup 1B?

Craig Wilson is a good pick up.

He's a grinder, bats righthanded and can play the outfield. Too bad he's not on the south side.

Chacon has been bad this year, but at least the Yankees didn't do their staff any favors with this move.

hate to drop this name again but...

Wilson is a lot like Kevin Millar circa 2002 only with more power less average and more HBP.

The Pirates have done a nice job of replacing the Expos as everyone else's unofficial farm team.

From Rotoworld.com:
According to ESPN, the Yankees have acquired Craig Wilson from the Pirates for Shawn Chacon.
Dave Littlefield needs to be fired. Preferably a year ago. Wilson probably won't have much fantasy value while being used as a bench player in New York. Chacon should step into Kip Wells' spot in the Pirates' rotation.

Wow...the Yanks trade four minor leaguers none of who are close to be ready for Abrau and Lidle... now this?

Interesting since there were a number of folks who said that without 'top' minor league prospects the Yanks couldn't do squat.

The Yankees will always be there to clean up the contract mistakes of other teams.

Well, in the short term he replaces Andy Phillips at 1B, so that's an upgrade.
