ESPN has reported the Padres just acquired Todd Walker for a minor leaguer. Does that move Perez to second?

The Cubs still have about a dozen second baseman on the roster. I think a couple of them are working out of the bullpen.

Wow...Hendry FINALLY found someone to take him. He tried for 4 months this past offseason and looked high and low for someone else 2 winters ago before ultimately settling for Walker. KW even went overseas and signed Gooch without ever having seen him play live before he would grab walker for about a million per year. When the Cubs signed him it was his 5th team in 5 years.

Hilarious that he was a Cub fan favorite; but typical.

I think the Cub fans were just sentenced to another year of Nefi..unless big moves are made in the off season......

I wonder if they even realize that...or are they too busy enjoying the social life in the bleachers.
