Nathaniel Whalen covers the Sox for the Daily Southtown and has a blog; yesterday on that blog he answered some questions with his opinions about why Ozzie structures lineups the way he does.

I sure have a problem with this statement from the article:
" First off, Thome is seeing tougher pitches because no one wants to face Konerko with a man on base."
If that's the case then he'd be seeing more fast balls and more pitches over the plate because pitchers wouldn't want to walk him.
