The topic they are discussing:

Are fat pitchers better than skinny pitchers? I swear.

Wilbur Wood, LaMarr Hoyt...they may have a point!

Maybe there isn't a need for 24x7 sports television...

Isn't that the story that features Terry Tub of Goo Forster and Sabathia? Maybe Rick Reuschel, Rich Garces, Carlos Castillo and a couple others thrown in for good measure, like Bartolo Colon.

Maybe our pitchers should start eating french fries more often. :D:

It wasn't that long ago - maybe 20 years - when you'd see college basketball players with huge guts. I think it was K State I saw in the NCAA regionals in the superdome with a center that was about 6-4 and a ton of flab. You still see it in the women's game.

Don't forget Charlie Kerfield

Everyone knows that big fat guy power trumps over all.

How do you think David Wells threw that perfect game?

Against September call-ups of a really bad team... sigh.

Was LaMarr Hoyt fat before or after his pain killer addiction?

Good point.

Big fat guy power + hangover = perfection?
