Garland going to make start today?

Apparently Farmer said that Jon was suffering with flu-like symptoms...

Not good if we have to use McCarthy a lot today and have Vazquez going tomorrow, but we SHOULD have a good chance against both Johnson and Chen without Garland 100% on top of his game...

At the end of the Sox game last night, Hawk & DJ said that Vazquez is starting today.

That could change if Jon is feeling better today, but why chance it? He's probably missed some or all of his lead-up work the starters do in the days before a start and might not be as effective.

As long as Oz is ready to yank Vazquez at the second sign of trouble, we'd be fine with using him today, considering the off-day this week.
