I'd do it.
won't happen because he talked **** about the team, but I'd do it.

I wouldn't be opposed to bringing him back in a bench role. Even with his gimpy knees, he can't be as bad as Mackowiak as a backup CF. He's also the king of situational hitting with two outs and two strikes, willing to give himself up to advance the runner or knock in a run. As a backup DH and corner OF, I'd give Crazy Carl another shot. Put Gload on the DL with "back spasms."

I wouldn't be opposed to Carl coming back.. as long as it is in a bench role.

It might stir things up - which is probably what we need.

Then just bring Robbie Alomar out of retirement and it really will be '03 and '04 all over again.

Might as well top it off. I seem to be in the way back machine since the BAL series.
Bring him back. It's worth a shot at this point. I was just thinking that the Sox needed a Carl Everett type in that club house right about now

Can't be any worse than Ross Gload. Plus will bring an additude (I can't spell today) to this team.

I wouldn't want to have crazy carl on our team again if he said he'd play for free!

Did a GM ever think of bringing back the same crappy player 3 times around a deadline in the bible? I sure hope not!:redneck

The only reason I'd want him back is because Carl brings that in-your-face, **** you attitude. If you aren't doing your job, you'll hear about it from him.
Performance-wise, there's no use for him on the team.

SEATTLE -- Carl Everett (http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/players/profile?statsId=5073) has left Seattle -- almost without a trace.
The Mariners designated Everett for assignment Wednesday, making Seattle the 35-year-old's eighth former team. The team recalled outfielder Chris Snelling (http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/players/profile?statsId=6937) from Triple-A Tacoma to take Everett's roster spot.

Carl had some pretty strong things to say about the organization and Kenny. I just can't see Kenny calling him up and saying 'do you want to come play?'

Isn't that the manager's job? I don't think you need an insane .200 hitter who can't play the field to motivate a team.
Bring back Carl would be the most insane idiotic thing this team could possibly do and the Sox would be a laughing stock if they did.
