As expected, Sean Marshall has been placed on the DL with a strained oblique muscle. How long must the Cubs suffer??!!

Hmmm...two strained oblique muscles in just a couple of weeks. Do I observe a trend here?

Snatch him up this offseason before he falls apart!

Starter Carlos Marmol left with a bruised hand after 3 2/3 innings on Sunday, allowing five runs on six hits in Chicago's 7-1 loss to Washington.

They might also have to deal with that to!

blah. It's his year in the bigs. Probably not used to throwing this many innings. He is one of the small rays of light in an otherwise dark and gloomy season for the Scubbies.

I wish him a quick, 100% recovery.

They need to take a serious look at the coaching and medical staff around there. This is too big of a trend.

Marshall seems to have some major potential. I hope he doesn't tank his career in that mess like many others before him have. I hope for his sake he can recover, bail outta that hole and go have himself a decent career. Long as it isn't with MN, DET, or CLE.

And Larry Rothschild is one of the guys who's supposedly safe on the Cubs. :?: There seems to be a big problem with the conditioning or training regimen over there. I mean, wow. Maybe the Cubs should trade Zambrano to save his career. No teal.
