I just saw Mayor Daley on the news wearing a Cubs cap at the closing ceremony of the Gay Games at Wrigley Field. I know he's in Wrigleyville, but geez.

True, but he was there for the closing ceremony of the GAY GAMES, not a Cub game. Using that excuse is like me saying I'm wearing an Astros cap because I happen to be at the airport in Houston. In the spirit of the event, perhaps he could have worn a cap with the rainbow pride colors, JMHO.

Good point. It would have been a nice sign of support by the mayor to wear the rainbow pride emblem for the Gay Games. I think he blew an opportunity, actually.

Theier home stadium is 4 inches away from a world renowed gay neighborhood.
Daley is the Mayor of CHICAGO.
