Yeah, the mullet thing was the best part of the night. Unfortunately.

The one thing I just couldn't abide by last night was that these people were trying to start a Wave near where I was sitting (554) in the seventh, I believe, when Buehrle was trying to work out of a jam when the game was still close. It was a game situation, and these goofs were totally oblivious to what was going on on the field. If I wanted to be around that kind of attention paid to the game by "fans" in the stands, I'd go to Wrigley. That wasn't right.

Ugh..that's the second game in a row that I've witnessed that crap. It was in a tense game situation too and these bozos are doin the flippin wave. Unfortunately, I think this is the price of success. Maroons that throw back HR balls and dorks that do the wave....

Haven't they read the Man Soo Laws?

Morons were doing the wave at Sox games long before the Sox won anything. I know it fun and cute to blame everything on Cub fans but its bull****.

On a similar note, I went to the game in 2005 where they were honoring the Beatles, and I remember that Dye looked sweet with his Beatles style hairdo.

I don't believe so, though they did discuss mullets for a little bit at one point.
Southpaw was all dressed up though. He looked pretty funny.

Something else that amused me was Kevin Mench's enourmous head. Seriously, it's huge. Everybody was in a pissy mood in the 8th inning, and tried to lighten things up around me be yelling "HEY MENCH!! IS THAT YOUR HEAD, OR DID YOUR NECK BLOW AN OVERSIZED BUBBLE?" Most of the people around me (106) laughed, so I hope I did some good.

Timmy Raines had a real nice mullet on that he caught the "1st pitch" w/ on. They showed a kid on the diamond vision who had a poster sized picture he must of photoshopped, w/ Hawkeroo and this outrageous mullet. I wish I got a pic of it, it was hilarious, he looked like Phyllis Dillard. Also I saw Hawk and DJ were throwin some mullets from the booth to the fans during the stretch, but they were mulletless themselves. Wish I had Uribes, that was a goofy lookin one.
