I dunno if anybody else is watching this game, but I sure am because all theses AL East games are really, really important to us right now, IMO.

Go Blue Jays (of course if they pass the Yankees then they're our rival for the Wild Card... but oh well, live in the present)

Currently 1-0 Yanks.

I can't believe I am sitting here listening to Sterling and Dame Edna.

I guess I'm not alone, misery loves company.

The Yankees scare me. With all their injuries they are still right there. Boston is running out of pitchers as now Wakefield is on the DL as they go to the west coast.

I agree. It's really impressive that they've hung around with all the injuries. When they get healthy... ****...

BTW, great throw by Molina. ugh.

Best 3rd Basemen defense wise in the AL come from the Central. Crede and Inge. Although I take Crede over Inge, especially offensively!

Inge had a hell of a defensive series against the Sox, but in general I thought he was pretty raw over there.

Geddy Lee was sitting behind home plate in the sweet seats.

The Blue Jays are officially the only other team in the race I'm rooting for down the stretch (in 1993 I never thought I'd be saying this). Definitely looking for them on MLB.tv.

Geddy Lee often sits there. He was also there on Sunday, and is something of a regular this season. You find another ballpark that can make that claim!

Sadly, the front page of the Toronto Star sports section this morning has a column speculating about Manager Gibbons's job security in the aftermath of the Hillenbrand saga. linky (http://www.thestar.com/NASApp/cs/ContentServer?pagename=thestar/Layout/Article_Type1&c=Article&cid=1153433434892&call_pageid=969907739730&col=970081600908)

Thanks Lip :o:

I don't want this to come down to the Red Sox and White Sox fighting it out for the WC. I want both teams in the playoffs, and then whatever happens, happens.

I really want the Yankees to be out just to see Mt Steinbrenner explode
