It looks like it is going to pretty bad in the Motor City. If it is rained out, will they just play 2 Aug 12 or 13th? I was really looking forward to the game entertaining me at work. :(:

Looks like the weather will stay to the south of DET. Maybe a delay or two, but they can wait it out all day and still be a 40 minute flight away from chicago.

I take what the weather channel has to say with a grain of salt. They're wrong alot of the time anyway.

There's been plenty of times that they said it was going to storm in my area and it never rained a drop.

Hopefully they jump on Rogers early and the 5 inning minimum doesn't screw them.

Well I thought it was going to be the end of the world right out my office window just now, if it moves towards Detriot, then there will be a delay for sure

They'll get the game in today.

By the looks of things, the storms are moving due east, keeping the bulk of it all south. However, storms developing to the west of Detroit isn't out of the question. I'd say there's a chance of a small rain delay, but my bet is the game will be on.

Good for us at work needing the entertainment. Come on Contreras, shut down the Kittens! :bandance:

Maybe that's the key for Vazquez to be successful. He always needs to pitch on days when it might rain so that maybe he won't have to face the lineup a third time.

Oh man.. if they postponed it and I actually had to work at work... just think what'd that do to the American economy!

I suggest following his lead. Accuweather has almost completely different forecasts than weather.com...an their's are usually correct. Weather.com is a bunch of idiots. (A little off topic...haha)

Maybe he should chill out listening to Ash Thursday. Thanks for the link to your band Andrew, I enjoyed listening to the tracks during the rain delay.
