Only if it affects how that team will actually play (or pitch) . . .

I was astounded to hear over the weekend that Tiger pitching has 12 shutouts so far in 2006.

You would trust the Tigers down the stretch?:?: This isn't a poll of who has the better pitching in the 1st half..... The Tiggers have young starters who have not logged over 200 innings in a season and Rogers who is historically a 2nd half bust. Next.

IMO, It's a toss up between the Sox and Twins. Of course I voted for the Sox, but I can see why people would vote for the Twins. I think Tiger pitching will not be reliable the second half.

Exactly. There's a lot of '06 left to be played and no one's won anything yet. The Sox just have to try to right this ship asap and take care of the Tigers. And guess what, if they don't...there's still a lot of '06 left to be played.

The way I look at it is our offense is good enough to keep us right there and it's gotta be just a matter of time before these starters find their groove. We have the best pitching staff top to bottom regardless of what the stats say thus far. Thus I have faith and vote Sox down the stretch.

You would seriously take the Tigers rotation down the stretch? Regardless of how they have struggled lately, the Sox have the best rotation in baseball.
