AAA All-Star Game is on ESPN2 at 6 central. Fields is batting 3rd, Young is DH'ing and batting 6th, Velandia is batting 9th, and Haeger is starting for the International League.

Barons play at Chattanooga at 6:15 central.
Winston-Salem plays at Myrtle Beach at 6 central.
Kanny plays at Augusta at 6 central.
Bristol plays at Princeton at 6 central.
Great Falls is home against Casper at 8 central.

Haeger's night is done as he pitched 2 perfect innings of ball.

IL wins the AAA All Star game 6-0. Haeger threw 2 scoreless, hitless innings as did Heath Phillips. Phillips also got the win. Jeff Farnswroth pitched one scoreless inning,so did former Sox #1 Royce Ring. Fields went 0-3 with 2 strikeouts. Velandia went 1-2 and scored a run. Ernie Young walked twice.

Birmingham and Ryan Rodriguez got it handed to them by Chattanooga 14-1.
Rodriguez 2.1 7H 7R 7ER 0BB 0SO. Getz went 2-4 and is now hitting .271. LOpez, Aldridge, Collaro, and Myers collected the other hits.

W-S lost to Myrtle Beach 5-3. Wes Whisler took the loss 5.2IP 10H 5R 1ER 1BB 1SO. Oneli Perez kept it close with 2.1 scoreless and 4 strikeouts. Sean Smith hit a 2 run homer.

Kanny beat Augusta 4-1 behind Derek Rodriguez 7IP 5H 1R 0ER 1BB 5SO. Rice closed with a hitless inning and 2 strikeouts.

Bristol also won 8-2 over Princeton rapping out 14 hits in the process. Among the hitting stars were Kent Gerst 2-5 with a tripleand an rbi, Scott Madsen 2-4 a double 2 rbi and a walk, Maurice Gatrell 2-4 2 doubles an rbi and a walk, Jeury Espinal 2-5 with 2 doubles, and Brendan O'Donnell 3-4 with two runs scored. Justin Edwards picked up his first professional win 5IP 4H 1R 1ER 1BB 3SO. Rafael Brujan continues to record Ks he struck out the side in the ninth. He now has 17SO in 8IP. He allowed a run on a walk, a HBP, and two wild pitches. Ah, rookie ball.

Speaking of the rookies, Great Falls lost to Casper 9-2 after surrendering 7 runs in the ninth. GF only managed four hits and commited four errors.
Urena had a tough ninth 1IP 5H 7R 6ER 2BB 1SO. Day started 5IP 6H 1R 1ER 1BB 3SO. (Vernon) Chris Carter hit another homer (9!). Kid might be the fourth best position prospect in our system right now, which doesn't say too much about what we have between AAA and the Pioneer League.
