I'll let you know that I've joined forces with Worth, Crestwood, and small factions of Blue Island. I'll be invading Midlothian soon!

Worth is one of those towns that you know of and drive through, but nobody lives there. At least that you know of. And by all the yous I mean me. I can't think of one person that lives there...haven't seen it on a user's profile here either.

One of my good friends lives in Worth, actualy a couple of my friends do. They're not criminals either:smile:

They also repainted the water tower there but it's not as cool as Alsip's.

Those are all in Alsip, the corner of 111th and Ridgeland is the borderline for three cities, Worth, Alsip, and Chicago Heights.

Wow, then an invasion of Alsipians would be scarier than I realized . . .

I remember Muddy Waters lived in Westmont (and was a Sox fan!). Does anybody know approximately where? (Waaayyy off-topic, I know, even for a thread with no topic . . .)

Man, for a guy who only had about 30 posts before he was launched, Horesmaster has quite the legacy here. Some people post more times than that every day.:o:

I don't know exactly where but I can try and find out this weekend. I live in the general area and this weekend is Westmont Fest or whatever they call it. The town hall usually has something set up where they display some of his stuff and give info about him. I remember driving by his house a while ago and it's just a very normal and unassuming house. Westmont even named one of their parks after him.

Ah, yes, the Taste of Westmont, where K of C 3738 will be serving meatball sandwiches and fried ravioli, the ladies auxiliary will be serving root beer floats, and there'll be hot dogs and beers in the bar (so c'mon by!) . . .

The park, as I recall, is off 63rd Street. I once asked a Westmont civic leader where the house was, and he gave me three streets where he thought it was . . .

Anyway, I'd appreciate any further info you may learn (obviously I've never been to get anything precise on it). Just curious . . .

I think we Midlothianites must team up with you Oak Lawnians. The Unholy Trinity of Worth, Alsip, and Crestwood (Blue Island no scare me) can easily be destroyed. All I ask is all the rights to the OTB after we conquer them.

Random Historial Midlothian Fact #2
Midlothian was first called Rexford Crossing. It was known as a milk stop for the old Rock Island line, after it crossed Pulaski Rd.

As the Official Oak Lawn Ambassador, we shall give the rights of the OTB to Midlothian on the assumption we get to keep the rest of the Rivercrest shopping center.

Oak Lawn and Midlothian going to war against Alsip, Worth, and Crestwood would be like the US invading Canada, just push them around and take all of their stuff.

Alright, we get the OTB, and a share of Best Buy/Kohls/Target (20% we are not a greedy people). Also, as commander of Midlothian forces, I get free meals at Lonestar, Applebees, and Unos.
