As of right now no.

The 1954 and 1960 teams had more. In 1960 there were seven. In 1954 the Sox had nine selected but two (Ferris Fair and George Kell) couldn't play due to injuries. The Sox wound up with seven.

The six players in 2006 ties with the 1951 club for second most in franchise history.

With A.J. in, they have now tied the club record of seven set in 1954, 1960 and now 2006

Don't worry, Crede will find a way to make it in and set the record :D:

A case could be made that this years' total is more impressive given that there were only 8 teams in the league in '54 and '60 - in essence there are 6 less roster spots with 14 teams in the league today, and getting seven players in is quite an accomplishment; of course, having one's manager selecting the reserves doesn't hurt.

I bet Crede goes too.

Why is that?

But he does deserve to go.

Crede should go too, but we do have 7. You could make a case for buerhle not going. I personally think he doesnt deserve it, but you cant say he is a joke like redman
