(Mods: Feel free to move this if the Clubhouse is the wrong board for this thread  )
I just bought a new MacBook as my "business travel" computer. Of course, the main reason to get it was so I could watch Sox games while on the road.
When I've tried watching games on it, everything works okay, except I'm not able to watch it in full-screen mode.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

Does it use a flash-based player, or Windows Media? Windows Media is handled through a 3rd party add-on for QuickTime, ever since Microshaft dropped WMV support for the Mac, and I don't think you can full-screen the QuickTime in-browser plugin. That, and the company that handles WMV support for the Mac has been dragging their heels getting an Intel beta of their WMV component released.

Well, I'm no computer expert, but it's definitely through Windows Media Player.
I use Firefox (tried Safari, won't play the video) and it works, but like I said in my first post, I can't get the full screen working.
You obviously have a greater understanding of computers than I do; would this link maybe allow you to pick out what might be the problem?

Anybody else run into this problem?
Thanks!

Thanks!Step 1. Download Flip4Mac (http://www.flip4mac.com/)
Step 2. Set it to play WMV files in Quicktime
Step 3. Profit!

Why would you buy a MAC?
Lots of reasons. Haven't you seen the commercials (http://www.apple.com/getamac/)?
You can integrate the White Sox game schedule with iCal at http://www.apple.com/macosx/features/ical/library/mlbbaseball.html.
I use MLB.TV on my Mac regularly, I can open multiple game windows of my choice as shown in this post (http://www.whitesoxinteractive.com/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=1088129&postcount=32).

Thanks for the responses, gang.
I'm pretty sure I already have flip4mac, but I probably just don't have it set up correctly.
I'm at work right now and heading to the Brewers game tonight, but I'll check it out when I get the chance.
Thanks again!
